Apple’s latest software update, the iOS 14.2, features a new smiling, face-mask wearing emoji.
According to the blog post by Emojipedia, the latest emoji now comes with eyebrows and blushing cheeks instead of its previous version with downturned eyes.
However, the smiling mask-wearing emoji sent from iOS 14.2 may still appear sad or sick when received on other iPhones with an earlier iOS version, as well as on Android devices. The final design is still subject to change.
Previously, Emojipedia announced that it will bring a total of 66 new emojis including a girl in a tuxedo, a man in a wedding gown, a smiling face with a tear, and a gender-neutral person feeding a baby.
