Friday’s action at the National Bank Open in Toronto for the women’s tournament was delayed due to rain while men’s play in Montreal was cancelled.
The wet weather also halted Thursday’s evening matches in Montreal.
Taylor Townsend of the United States and fourth-seeded Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia kicked off centre court action in Toronto at 12:30 p.m. ET.
The men’s tournament was originally scheduled to resume at 11 a.m. ET.
