Fitbit has officially announced its latest wearable, the Fitbit Luxe. It boasts a sleek buttonless design, and it is dubbed as Fitbit’s thinnest touchscreen tracker to date, with various new clock faces on the first Fitbit tracker with a color screen.
The Fitbit Luxe is a fashionable fitness band featuring a stainless steel case with an interchangeable silicone strap. It is equipped with stress management tools for automatic activity and sleep tracking. With Luxe, as well as all available heart-rate enabled devices, Fitbit’s Stress Management Score delivers a daily assessment of users’ body’s ability to handle stress based on their activity levels, sleep, and heart rate. With Fitbit Premium, users receive a detailed breakdown of their Stress Management Score, including other information.
Moreover, Luxe gives users access to Fitbit’s wide range of health and wellness features. Users may also get insights into their wellbeing in the Fitbit app with the Health Metrics dashboard, which tracks breathing rate, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate (RHR), skin temperature variation, and coming soon, oxygen saturation (SpO2).
Other health tools include food, hydration and weight logging, and menstrual health tracking. Meanwhile, Premium members have access to over 60 new pieces of nutrition content, including curated healthy recipes from Fitbit and Eating Well magazine.
Additionally, users can also choose from 20 different on-wrist exercise modes, including golf, pilates, spinning, or tennis. Those who prefer running, biking, or hiking can use connected GPS from their phone to check real-time pace and distance. Premium users have access to more than 200 guided audio and video workouts from certified personal trainers and popular brands like Aaptiv, barre3, Daily Burn, obé and POPSUGAR.
Luxe also has other smart features such as alarms, stopwatch, and timers with up to five days of battery life. Users may also access call, text, and smartphone notifications and set bedtime reminders or use do not disturb when it’s time to focus. Plus, it is compatible with Android and iOS phones, as well as with Google Fast Pair.
Fitbit partnered with Laguna Beach-based jewelry brand gorjana for the Luxe’s style. The gorjana for Fitbit Luxe Special Edition converts the tracker into a piece of jewelry with the Parker Link Bracelet in soft gold stainless steel and a swimproof classic silicone peony band.
The Fitbit Luxe is priced at PHP 8,490. It will be available starting June at Fitbit.com and major retailers, such as Digital Walker, Lazada, and Shopee. It comes with a six-month Fitbit Premium trial worth PHP 3,114. After the 6-month trial for Luxe, Premium is available for PHP 519 per month or PHP4,190 per year in 18 languages and more than 40 countries.
