Display

In terms of display, both devices come with an HDR10+ AMOLED screen. The Black Shark, however, speeds over the Mi 11X with its higher 144Hz refresh rate display and 720Hz touch sampling rate.

Both feature a sleek build, but the Mi 11X is a bit sleeker and lighter, coming in with a depth of 7.8mm and a weight of 196g, compared to the 9.9mm and 210g of the Black Shark 4. Extra points are given to the Mi 11X as well for its protective addition of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Xiaomi Mi 11X has two RAM configurations of 6GB and 8GB, while the Black Shark 4 offers an 8GB and 12GB option. Cameras

There isn’t much deviation when it comes to the two competitors’ camera specs—because both feature a 48MP main and 8MP ultra-wide camera. The only difference lies within its third camera option; the Black Shark 4 has a 5MP macro camera, while the Xiaomi Mi 11X has a 5MP tele-macro camera. More testing will be done for this when we get our hands on the units themselves.

Connectivity and Features

Both devices are pretty much the same in terms of connectivity features. Both are capable of 5G, 4G LTE connection, and WiFi 6 connectivity. The Black Shark 4 inched above the Mi 11X with its Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC support. However, the Mi 11X supports the IR Blaster function.

The Mi 11X’s dual speakers by Dolby Atmos is another feature to take note of, especially with its Hi-Res Audio certification. But when it comes to gaming, the responsive touch sample rate with the Physical pop-up triggers of the Black Shark 4 would be most appealing to those itchin’ to game.

Battery

In the battery department, the Black Shark 4 beats the Mi 11X with its slightly higher battery capacity of 4,500mAh and faster charging rate of 120W. While the battery of the Mi 11X sits at 4,520mAh with 33W of fast charge.

Which one to get?

If you are looking for performance and something that entails ‘Gamer,’ the Black Shark 4 is the way to go with its faster charging, refresh and touch sample rate paired along with its pop-up gaming triggers.
