Xiaomi has unveiled its latest display in China, the Xiaomi TV ES50 2022. It features a 50-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) display with a 178-degree viewing angle, 60Hz refresh rate, HDR, Dolby Vision, and up to 600 nits of brightness.
Xiaomi’s new TV comes with the professional-level color accuracy of about 2.0 dE2000a achieved through complex algorithms that reduce the color reproduction errors. According to Xiaomi, the AI engine uses super-resolution algorithms to reduce noise, improve definition and fix low-resolution artifacts in real-time.
Other features include MEMC motion technology, 10-bit color panel, MediaTek MT9638 quad-core chipset and runs on MIUI for TV 3.0. It also comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.0, dual Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/ 5GHz, and Infrared. It also comes with three HDMI ports, one AV port, one ATV/ DTMB port, two USB ports, one S/PDIF port, and an Ethernet port.
In addition, the TV has two 12.5W speakers onboard and weighs about 10.35kg with the stand. It also comes with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD support.
The Xiaomi TV ES50 2022 is priced at CNY 2,399 and is now up for pre-order in China. It will officially go on sale starting December 11.
