And just like that, we’re done with our -ber month. While we have three months to go before 2020 ends, we can still expect more devices to come out just in time for the holidays. But before that, let’s take a look at the gadgets we reviewed last month, which includes the vivo X50, Lenovo Legion 7i, POCO X3 NFC, and the realme 7 series, to name a few. Check out our Gadget Reviews Roundup for the month of September.

realme C12
The realme C12 is basically an improved C11 but with the 2MP B&W sensor, rear fingerprint scanner, and 6,000mAh battery of the C15. In terms of pricing, it sits in between the C11 and C15 at PHP 5,990. So, if you’re eyeing the C11 and can stretch the budget for PHP 1K, the C12 is the best option. It’s a great entry-level device for those who want a large screen, decent cameras, and good battery life.
vivo X50
The vivo X50 has an SRP of PHP 25,999, and with that, you get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that’s sadly non-expandable. It’s PHP 4,000 less than the pro version, and significantly trimmed down aspects applied are the lack of that superb video performance, 5G connectivity, a slightly lower battery capacity, and a lower chipset, which by the way, still delivers smoothly.
Lenovo Legion 7i
The Lenovo Legion 7i ticks all the boxes on our list. It has a premium build, a portable and professional-looking design that won’t look out of place in an office environment, a fantastic 240Hz display, a privacy shutter on the webcam, an attractive RGB setup, good battery life, cool software features, and great performance and thermals.
ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 G732LXS
With its large screen with a high refresh rate and powerful internals, we see the ROG Strix Scar 17 G732LXS-HG086TS as the laptop for users who are looking for something to replace their desktop with a more mobile machine. It even allows the user a certain degree of control if you want to tinker and maximize its performance. It’s not the sleekest laptop around, but it’s definitely a performer.
POCO X3 NFC
Packed with some very respectable hardware specs, great cameras, and very reliable battery life, it’s not difficult to say that this could well be the best bang for your buck phone currently out there today. The POCO X3 NFC is priced at PHP 10,990 for the 6+64GB variant, while the 6+128GB version will run you PHP 12,990. Catch their promo on Lazada to get a discounted price.
Lenovo ThinkBook Plus
While the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus does achieve its goal of being a portable, all-around productivity device, it lacks an integrated graphics for boosting editing and rendering workloads. We also feel that the battery life could have lasted longer and added a garage slot for the Lenovo Precision Pen could have been a good choice. However, its dual displays maximize the user’s productivity. Its main display is also top-notch.
2019 Honda PCX 150
All in all, the PCX 150 is undoubtedly an enjoyable daily driver. The wide seats paired with an upright seating position make this one of the most comfortable small-displacement scooters you can currently get your hands on. And with some nice features like ABS, a Smart key remote, and a built-in 12v charging socket, this two-wheeled automatic is going to be ready to meet the demands of any modern rider.
realme 7 Pro
The realme 7 Pro has an official price tag of PHP 17,990. On its own, it’s definitely an impressive device. You get reliable performance, and the premium feel is still there complimented with a display that stands out—not to mention that it now has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
realme 7
Not only does it have that 90Hz refresh rate option, but it also packs highly competitive performance, generous RAM & storage, and a mega battery that you can fully charge in an hour or an hour and a half. The cameras are great too, and the display should be enough for users who aren’t too meticulous about getting an AMOLED panel.
