Huami has recently launched the successor of its Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch, the T-Rex Pro.
The latest Amazfit T-Rex Pro brings improved 10ATM water-resistance, compared to 5ATM on its predecessor. It also has a new BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensor for a more accurate heart rate measurements. Meanwhile, the rest of the specs remain the same as the regular T-Rex smartwatch.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is a rugged smartwatch with a 1.3-inch AMOLED touch screen display that comes protected with tempered glass and an anti-fingerprint coating. It comes with 360×360 pixel resolution and always-on display. The watch is paired with a watch strap made from soft silicone.
The smartwatch features over 100 sports modes, and can be used to monitor various data such as workout heart rate, distance traveled, movement speed, and calories burned in real time for most sports modes.
It also boasts a MIL-STD-810G impact resistance, 10ATM water-resistance, and a 390mAh battery. In terms of sensors, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro comes geared with an optical heart rate sensor, 3-axis acceleration sensor, gyroscope sensor, ambient light sensor, and barometric altimeter. The smartwatch also supports Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and it is compatible with devices running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above. Other features include weather notification, call reminders, event reminders, and more.
The smartwatch packs a 390mAh battery that Amazfit claims to last up to 18 days with typical use.
