The short video platform, TikTok, has announced that the ability to create longer videos is now available.
According to TikTok Product Manager, Drew Kirchoff, they have been focusing on providing their community with a range of tools to help creators, hence their action to support longer videos as a tool to retain a creator’s community and audience. The longer video feature has been available for a while, but to certain creators as an experiment before the official rollout.
TikTok will be rolling out the extended video format to everyone on the platform, allowing up to three minutes of video content within TikTok. Once ready, users will get a notification that longer videos are now available and are now part of their creative toolbox.
