The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Nikita Grebyonkin to a three-year entry-level contract, his agent Dan Milstein confirmed Monday on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Grebyonkin recently guided Metallurg Magnitogorsk to a Gagarin Cup title in the KHL. He was second on the team in scoring through the regular season, posting 19 goals and 41 points in 67 games.
The contract will begin immediately, which means Grebyonkin will be able to burn a year off his entry-level contract.
The Leafs selected Grebyonkin in the fifth round, 135th overall, in the 2022 NHL Draft.
