One of the big updates of the iPhone 14 Pro is its new Dynamic Island that hides the front-facing TrueDepth camera and now 3rd party app developers are experimenting with different ways to use the new Dynamic Island.
Because Apple allows 3rd party developers to create different experiences with Dynamic Island, it may also include games. There’s now a Dynamic Island game idea that took inspiration from Pong as shared by Kriss Smolka.
Who has an iPhone 14 Pro right now? Need to test this on device asap!
🏝️ Hit The Island – our game concept for iPhone 14 Pro, still laggy but it’s turning out nice :) #iPhone14Pro #iOS16 pic.twitter.com/kWLU77gk6d

The game is called the ‘Hit the Island’ game where a player uses a paddle at the bottom to send the ball up and hit the Dynamic Island. Smolka said that there are still some lag issues but the game is ‘turning out nice’.
There are other unique features from iPhone 14 aside from the Dynamic Island that we can expect to have different experiences based on how 3rd party developers play with it.
