Back in August, we wrote that the vivo Y16 will launch in the Philippines soon. But what is there to be excited about with this new upcoming smartphone? Here’s what vivo has to say.
According to vivo, the vivo Y16 is a welcome addition to its lineup, following the consecutive launch of new devices from the T and X80 series. Now, it’s the turn of the Y series.
The vivo Y16 features a large 6.51-inch Halo FullView display with eye protection mode for comfortable viewing. It also has 64GB or 128GB of storage with support for microSD cards so you can store more photos and videos captured by its cameras and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. Speaking of cameras, it has a 13MP main and 2MP secondary with an Aurora Screen Light for brighter photos in the dark. For selfies, there’s a 5MP camera.
Powering the Y16 is a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, 4GB of RAM to handle light multi-tasking, exclusive Multi Turbo 5.5 for no-lag performance, Ultra Game Mode for a gaming smartphone experience, and a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging for long hours of gaming, streaming, and music playback. All of that for an affordable price.
