LinkedIn has released its first annual LinkedIn Top Startups list which features the 10 emerging companies in the Philippines gaining attention.
According to LinkedIn, the list is backed by data across four pillars: employee growth; jobseeker interest; member engagement within the company and its employees; and how well these startups pulled talent from its flagship LinkedIn Top Companies list.
- Tier One Entertainment (Entertainment Providers)
Tier One Entertainment is a Southeast Asian gaming and esports talent agency. It manages over 1,000 talents, including influencers, idol groups, and esports players.
- SariSuki (Wholesale Food and Beverage)
SariSuki is a social commerce startup founded at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic that facilitates community group buying. It enables store owners to sell products at cheaper prices by buying these from local farmers and producers.
- Shoppertainment LIVE (Broadcast Media Production and Distribution)
Shoppertainment Live is a livestream shopping network that helps brands sell their products in an online shopping format. It also features Shoppertainment Academy where it trains its presenters to engage with audiences and sell products more effectively.
- Kumu (Entertainment Providers)
Kumu is a livestreaming app. It fosters a community through live-streamed shows, brand partnerships, and online contests.
- edemama (Internet)
edamama is a parenting-focused e-commerce platform that aims to simplify the decision-making process for parents. It offers a wide range of parenting products and services including clothes, food items, and accessories.
- Growsari (IT Services and IT Consulting)
GrowSari is a B2B platform for small stores. It offers small community stores, commonly called sari-sari stores, digitizing services to help manage their stocks, offer bills payment services, and become online shopping hubs.
- PDAX | Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (Financial Services)
Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX) is a cryptocurrency exchange that provides customers with a platform to buy, sell, and trade global cryptocurrencies using Philippine Peso currency.
- Edukasyon.ph (E-Learning Providers)
Edukasyon.ph is an online platform that aims to help students get quality and relevant education through online tutoring, upskilling, and providing college and career advice. Its website contains a wealth of information where students can get to know themselves better, learn what academic and career options they have, and more.
- Peddlr (Technology, Information and Internet)
Peddlr provides micro and small enterprises with business management tools. Proprietors can manage their sales, inventory, accounting, and reports for free on Peddlr’s mobile app.
