One of the Boston Celtics‘ all-stars is officially on the mend.
The team announced Wednesday that shooting guard Jaylen Brown underwent a “successful” arthroscopic debridement procedure on his right knee.
He is expected to participate fully in training camp ahead of the 2025-26 season without limitation.
The news comes after ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reported back in May that Brown had played through the final month of the regular season and the playoffs with a partially torn meniscus.
Brown, the 2024 NBA Finals MVP, averaged 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.2 steals during the regular season and maintained a similar stat line in the playoffs.
The Celtics’ 2025 playoff run came to an end in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
