Samsung has recently announced the availability of Google Assistant to its 2020 lineup of smart TVs.
As Samsung shared in its press release, Google Assistant will roll out on this year’s 4K and 8K QLED TVs including Crystal UHD TVs, The Frame, The Serif, The Sero, and The Terrace. Previously, Samsung integrates support on other voice assistants, such as Bixby and Amazon Alexa, across its smart TVs.
Samsung Smart TV users now have faster access to content, web browsing, and controls for their smart home devices with a voice assistant of their choice. By activating voice commands, users can easily browse channels, adjust the volume, control playback, open apps, ask the weather forecast, and access Google services such as Maps, Calendar, Photos, and more.
Currently, Google Assistant on select Samsung smart TVs are now available in the UK, France, Germany, and Italy. It is slated to roll out by the end of this year.
