Xiaomi has recently shared its consolidated financial report for Q3 2020 from July 1 to September 30, 2020.
According to the financial report, the smartphone brand recorded a total of 46.6 million units. This is more than 45.3% from Q3 2019. Canalys’ global smartphone shipments report also named Xiaomi as the third biggest smartphone brand globally with a market share of 13.5% the Q3 2020.
As compared to last year’s total revenue in the same timeline, Xiaomi recorded an increase of 34.5%, amounting to CNY 72.2 billion. CNY 47.6 billion from it were from smartphones alone, representing an increase of 47.5%. Xiaomi smartphones’ average selling price (ASP) also went up to CNY 1,022 per unit, driven by Mi flagship smartphones’ sales.
Xiaomi’s global revenue also increased by 52.1%, amounting to CNY 39.8 billion. This is 55.1% of the brand’s total sales. As for its IoT and lifestyle devices, the smartphone earned a total of CNY 18.1 billion in Q3 2020, representing an increase of 16.1%. Globally, the total revenue of Xiaomi IoT and lifestyle products jumped by 56.2%.
