Apple has just announced the newest version of the iPad Air (2022). While not much has been improved from the design of the old iPad Air 2020, the new iPad Air now comes with an Apple M1 chip (the same ones used in the Macs) and 5G connectivity.
The M1 chip on the new iPad Air has an 8-core CPU that’s up to 60% faster than the A14 Bionic processor of the previous iPad Air.
They also come in new colors — Space Gray, Starlight, Pink, Purple and Blue. The iPad Air is priced at $599 (64GB WiFi model) and $749 (256GB WiFi model). The retail price is Php35,990 and Php44,990 in the Philippines, respectively.
For the 5G models, it’s Php44,990 (64GB) and Php53,990 (256GB).
