Elon Musk recently paid a visit to Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco on Wednesday, two days before the deadline of his takeover deal on Friday.
The billionaire also Tweeted a video of himself entering and walking into the Twitter office carrying a sink with him.
This was a play on words as he also captioned “let that sink in” in reference to him literally bringing a sink in and the realization that he will soon be the CEO of Twitter.

Musk has also recently changed his Twitter bio to simply “Chief Twit”, also implying that he may very well soon be the CEO of Twitter.
Musk is said to face a deadline this Friday to complete his USD 44 Billion purchase of Twitter at USD 54.20 a share or he will face trial over the contract.
A report from Bloomberg also states that Musk plans to meet and address the staff of Twitter directly on Friday. Musk also Tweeted that he met “a lot of cool people” at Twitter headquarters during his visit.
This comes after reports by the Washington Post of Musk’s plans to lay off 75% of employees working at Twitter.
