New Orleans Saints bring home Jimmy Graham and Trai Turner on one-year deals

Jimmy Graham and Trai Turner are headed back to New Orleans.

The Saints signed the free agents to one-year deals on Tuesday, the team announced Tuesday.

Returning for his second stint with the team, Graham has caught 713 passes for 8,506 yards and 85 touchdowns in his 12-year NFL career. The tight end from Goldsboro, N.C., was drafted by the Saints in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft after playing only one season of college football. He spent five seasons in New Orleans, earning three Pro Bowl nods in 2011, 2013, and 2014.

The 36-year-old was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2015 and later spent two seasons each in Green Bay and Chicago.

Turner, a New Orleans native and former LSU standout, has spent nine years in the NFL. He appeared in 16 games for the Washington Commanders in the 2022-23 season.

First drafted 92nd overall by the Panthers in 2014, the 30-year-old Guard spent six seasons in Carolina, where he made the Pro Bowl every year from 2015 to 2019.
