Ottawa is adding some blue-line depth.
The Senators called up defenceman Lassi Thomson on Saturday ahead of a weekend back-to-back against California clubs, the team announced.
Thomson, 25, is a veteran of 18 NHL games, in which he has five assists.
In 55 games with the AHL’s Belleville Senators on the season, the Finnish blue liner has 14 goals and 11 assists.
