DJI Mini 2 now official

DJI introduces its smallest, foldable 4K camera drone, the DJI Mini 2.

The DJI Mini 2 is a successor from the brand’s Mavic Mini. It now has a lighter body at only 249 grams. It features an iconic folding design, OcuSync 2.0 transmission technology for optimized connection between the drone and the remote control, and dual-frequency technology for preventing interference when switching channels, a 1/2.3-inch sensor for capturing 12MP images, 4X Zoom, and 4K video recording at 30fps as fast as 100 Mbps. It has various image and panorama modes for capturing subjects for different scenarios.

It has a maximum flight time of up to 31 minutes, a maximum transmission range of up to 10 km, and a maximum altitude. The DJI Mini 2 is also equipped with a 3-axis gimbal, 4K camera, high-grade positioning and vision sensors, and Pre-programmed movements and image capture modes named QuickShots. It can withstand strong winds up to 24mph.


The drone is also compatible with the DJI Fly app and can be connected to a mobile device without the remote control. Once landed, users can also share footages and download images at a high-speed rate of 20 MB/s from the DJI Mini 2  to any connected device.

As for the accessories, the DJI Mini 2 comes with 360-degrees propeller guards, DJI Mini Bag+, charging display case, snap adapter, and a DIY creative kit.

The DJI Mini 2 standard package (DJI Mini 2, remote controller, and one battery) retails for USD 449. Meanwhile, the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo (DJI Mini 2, remote controller,  three batteries, charging hub, and carrying case) is priced at USD 599.
