DOLE opens online system for cash assistance applications

The Department of Labor and Employment opens the second tranche of its cash assistance program, the DOLE COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP), for private-sector workers who have been displaced or affected by the pandemic.

According to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, the department developed an online system to streamline, simplify, and digitize the submission of applications of the affected workers. With the online system, applicants who for the DOLE CAMP may now track their application’s progress.

The initiative also aims to reduce physical contact and ensure public and DOLE employees’ safety as recommended by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases and the Department of Health.

The system was developed and designed by the DOLE-Systems Development Team (DOLE-SDT) team led by Undersecretary Ana C. Dione and Assistant Secretary Ma. Teresita S. Cucueco.

Here’s how to apply for the DOLE CAMP online:

  1. Go to the DOLE CAMP online system.
  2. Select the Apply for CAMP Financial Assistance and choose the preferred application:  Apply as Establishment, Apply as DOT Accredited Establishment, and Displaced and Temporarily Laid-off Workers.
  3. Fill in the required information and attach files required.
  4. Click next to submit your application online.

Clients who will apply as an establishment must have a DOLE ERS account first to continue the application.
Laid-off worker applicants, however, need to fill in the form online.

The DOLE SDT will continue to enhance the online system to optimize more the process.
