Huawei intros Petal Maps for navigation

Huawei introduces the beta version of the Petal Maps app for navigation.

The Huawei Petal Maps (Beta Version) allows users to search for locations, businesses, and other points of interest directly from the app. It features air gestures that let users zoom in and out and switch between navigation view and map overview. Moreover, it allows users to explore the map in an interactive 3D view.

This app also comes with dynamic step-by-step navigation and turn-by-turn voice guidance. It provides routing options like the fastest route and displays real-time traffic. Plus, users may also save places to the app that they can sync to the Cloud by logging in to the Huawei ID, which they can easily access on Huawei devices.

Spotted on the website, the app will soon provide users detailed schedules, departure times, and arrival times for the metro, buses, trains, and more. According to Huawei, the app complies with local laws and regulations to protect user data and privacy. All location data is securely protected with E2EE (end-to-end encryption) and other advanced privacy protection technologies.
