Following the Concept One, OnePlus has recently shared its latest concept smartphone.
Dubbed as the OnePlus 8T Concept, the brand’s new concept smartphone is based on the OnePlus 8T. It boasts few new technologies that the brand has been developing, This includes a color-changing film under the glass of the smartphone’s back panel and a mmWave radar.
The color-changing film contains metal oxide in glass, which changes its color based on the voltage applied to the smartphone. The color switches from silver to dark blue.
Meanwhile, the mmWave radar system installed below the rear camera module allows the smartphone to transmit and receive electromagnetic waves. This lets the smartphone to perceive, image, locate, and track objects.
The application of these technologies enables touchless notification, gesture controls for accepting and taking calls and more, and a breathing monitor that syncs in with the color-changing back panel.
The smartphone brand also introduces OnePlus Gaudi, a global Research and Development team for integrating new technologies for smartphones.
