POCO India has recently announced its new brand logo, company mascot, and a new tagline, “Made of Mad.”
POCO’s new mascot looks like a mishmash emoji. POCO India has shared on its Twitter account the meaning behind its various visual features. According to the brand, the new logo represents every individual looking for greater mainstream alternatives. The Halo signifies a sense of goodness, the antennas for Mad’s naughty side, the intent in the mascot’s eye for incongruity, and a triangular mouth for sharp wit.
POCO has started as a sub-brand from Xiaomi in 2018. POCO India had separated from Xiaomi last year to function as an independent brand with particular products, marketing teams, and software. However, the company still occasionally relies on devices from Xiaomi as a base for its products that POCO further customizes for the Indian market.
Take note that the refreshed logo currently applies only to POCO India and not POCO as a whole, well, perhaps for now.
