Nintendo has recently announced that the action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is coming to Switch.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is originally developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii. The said game gets remastered for Nintendo Switch, coming in HD for its rerelease. It is a game in which players take on the role of series protagonist Link through a series of monster-populated overworlds and navigating dungeons featuring puzzles and bosses.
Moreover, Nintendo is also releasing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword special edition Joy-Con controllers for its Switch debut, themed after the Hylian Shield and Master Sword.
According to Nintendo, the link will match the angle of each strike the player makes with the Joy-Con controller, performing immersive swordplay that relies on strategy and accuracy. Plus, the movements feel smoother and more immediate with the Nintendo Switch system’s increased processing power and HD graphics. Players may also take advantage of the newly-added button-only control scheme, which is ideal for playing in handheld mode or on the Nintendo Switch Lite system.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for Nintendo Switch will be available starting July 16. It is priced at USD 59.99, and it is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo website.
