Lenovo IdeaPad 5G, IdeaPad 5 Pro, IdeaPad 5i Pro now official

Lenovo also announced the latest IdeaPad 5 series composed of three models: IdeaPad 5G, IdeaPad 5 Pro, and IdeaPad 5i Pro.

The IdeaPad 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 5G processor, Adreno 680 graphics Qualcomm X55 Modem-RF system that allows users to access 5G and 4G LTE networks. It has a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with 100% sRGB color gamut, 8GB RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

Meanwhile, the IdeaPad 5i Pro comes with either 14-inch or 16-inch 2.5K (2880 x 1800)/2.2K (2240 x 1400) displays with either 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rates and 100% sRGB color gamut. It has up to NVIDIA MX450 graphics, up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, and up to T75WHr battery with support for Rapid Charge Express.

Lastly, the IdeaPad Pro also comes with either a 14-inch or 16-inch 2.8K/2.5K IPS display with up to 120Hz refresh rates. It is powered with the next-generation AMD Ryzen mobile processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs, up to 32GB DDR4 of memory, up to 1TB PCIe, M.2 SSD storage, and up to 5WHr battery with Rapid Charge Express.

The 14-inch IdeaPad 5G variant is expected to be available in select markets except for North America. The former comes with a price tag of EUR 899 with VAT. Pricing will vary per market. Meanwhile, the 16-inch IdeaPad 5 Pro laptop with the latest AMD Ryzen H-Series Mobile Processors and up to next-gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs will start at USD 1149.99. It will roll out starting in May 2021. As for the 14-inch IdeaPad 5 Pro and the 14-inch and 16-inch IdeaPad 5i Pro, it will be available in Europe, Middle East, and Africa in March 2021 with a starting price of EUR 799, EUR 699, and EUR 899 (including VAT).
