Apart from the GFX1000S, Fujifilm has recently announced its latest mirrorless camera under its X series.
The Fujifilm X-E4 is equipped with a 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, advanced Face and Eye Detection, and a 180-degrees tilting LCD touchscreen. Weighing at just 364g, the mirrorless camera has a slim and sleek design reminiscent of classic film cameras. It is powered by an X-Processor 4 image processor, the latest Face and Eye detection technology, and a Shutter Speed Dial on the camera’s top panel. The dial also features Program (P) position, in which the camera automatically chooses the optimum combination of shutter speed and aperture settings to take high-quality images.
The mirrorless camera also placed controls on the front-side dials for more thumb space. It can also record 4K/30p videos equivalent to 6K to ensure the footage is high-resolution with low noise. It supports recording 4K/30P video at 8-bit 4:2:0 onto an SD card inserted in the camera and outputting 4K/30P video at 10-bit 4:2:2, containing greater color information the HDMI port. It also has FHD video recording at 240 fps and 18 film simulations, including two new filters: Velvia and TERNA Bleach Bypass.
Available in Black and Silver, the Fujifilm X-E4 will be available in late February 2021. It can be used with accessories such as the TR XE4 thumb rest and MXG-EH4 hand grip.
