Xbox has announced that the upcoming Update 6 for Microsoft Flight Simulator will go live on September 7.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is an amateur flight simulator developed by Asobo Studio and was published by Xbox Game Studios. It simulates the topography of the entire planet and generates the three-dimensional representation of Earth’s features using its cloud computing and real-world data.
The latest World Update celebrates the region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. New aerial imagery, high-resolution elevation maps, and several brand-new 3D cities in Germany, Basel in Switzerland, Graz, and Vienna in Austria are going to receive a visual enhancement. Additionally, the team included 100 famous locations and several airports like Lübeck, Stuttgart, Klagenfurt and St. Gallen. The update will also include new discover flights, landing challenges and bush trips.
Additionally, the game will be seeing new releases called “Local Legends” that will frequently coincide with World Updates. Aircrafts such as the Junker JU-52 and the Volocopter may be incorporated to the game soon. Finally, Microsoft Flight Simulator has partnered up with RARA (the Reno Air Racing Association) to bring the famous STIHL National Championship Air Races to the game which is said to be available this Fall.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is available in Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe editions, and will be priced at USD 59.99, USD 89.99 and USD 199.99, respectively. The game is also available on Xbox Series X|S with Xbox Game Pass, Windows 10 with Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Steam. Note that the update will be available for download in the in-sim marketplace free-of-charge on September 7, 2021.
