Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games have announced that they are partnering up once again for three new Star Wars games. The currently teased game is a sequel to the popular Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a first-person shooter, and a strategy game, all in development from Respawn Entertainment.
Respawn Entertainment is the developer of popular games such as Titanfall and Apex Legends. In addition, Respawn will produce the new Star Wars strategy game while Bit Reactor leads the title’s development.
“We are excited to continue working with the superbly talented teams at Respawn,” said Douglas Reilly, VP, Lucasfilm Games. “They have demonstrated excellence in telling epic Star Wars stories along with best-in-class gameplay across different genres and we are looking forward to bringing more amazing experiences to the galaxy far, far away.”
These aren’t the only Star Wars games in the pipeline, as Ubisoft also announced last year that it is also developing an untitled Star Wars game at Massive Entertainment, developer of The Divison. Quantic Dream, another studio, revealed last December that they also have a game entitled Star Wars Eclipse, set in the new High Republic Era of Star Wars.
