Toyota GRMN Yaris has been officially announced at the Tokyo Auto Salon in three different styles all of which will be available in limited numbers..
The GRMN is 10mm wider, 10mm lower, and 20kg lighter than the regular GR Yaris. The initial four gear ratios have been shortened, the final drive is shorter, and there are mechanical limited-slips differentials under the skin. With peak power unchanged at 200kW, peak torque has been upgraded from 370Nm to 390Nm in the GRMN. Additionally, the carbon roof of the standard car is equipped with a carbon fiber lip spoiler and bonnet to lower the center of gravity.
GRMN Yaris will be available in two options: the Circuit Package and the Rally Package
The Circuit Package is a factory option that has an added set of unique 18-inch alloy wheels, adjustable Bilstein shocks, a carbon swan-neck spoiler, a side skirt, and a lip spoiler. While the Rally Package option brings a set of GR shock absorbers and stabilizers, extra underbody protection, and a GR roll cage behind the wheel. The Circuit Package is pictured in black while the Rally Package is red.
The MSRP of the GRMN Yaris is ranged from JPY 7,317,000 to JPY 8,467,000.
