Huawei launched the Watch GT3 late last year and just recently has thought of updating the series with the Watch GT 3 Pro.
Much like the GT 2 Pro, the Huawei Watch GT 3 will be coming out with a ceramic and Porsche Design. It has two distinct sizes – 46mm which comes in titanium while the 43mm one will be made of ceramic. Both have a 1.43-inch and 1.32-inch AMOLED display respectively.
While the titanium model claims to have a 14-day battery life under regular use, the 43-inch model is said to last for around 7 days. Both with a charging speed increase of 30 percent compared to previous generations.
In terms of water resistance, the Watch GT 3 Pro has been rated for free diving of up to 30m with several functions to help train. It even functions as a golf watch with maps on over 300 golf courses pre-loaded into its system.
Overall having about 100 sports modes of which 18 are labeled as “professional”.
Huawei has attached an ECG sensor onboard that claims to provide more data compared to a typical heart rate sensor with an additional blood-oxygen monitor, and a thermometer, as well as sleep and stress trackers.
The Huawei GT 3 Pro will be running on HarmonyOS with the typical mobile payments using NFC and can be linked as a car key under specific brands and models.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is on pre-order in China with the 46mm titanium design starting at CNY 2500, and the 43mm ceramic version starting at CNY 3000. The Porsche Design will be arriving on May 5 at a cost of CNY 4700.
