Ookla reports that for the first quarter of 2022, Smart was the fastest mobile operator in the Philippines with a median download speed of 24.07 Mbps.
DITO came in second place with a mean download speed of 16.96Mbps while Globe got 15.25Mbps.
Looking only at tests taken on a 5G connection, Smart had the fastest median download in Philippines during Q1 2022 at 200.43 Mbps, followed by Globe at 121.29Mbps.
These numbers are consistent with Smart’s 5G internet performance in Q3 and Q4 of 2021 as reported here.
