Acer is solidifying its efforts for sustainability by expanding its Vero portfolio and one of the highlights of these is the new Eco-conscious but high-performing Aspire Vero Laptops. These were with a portion of PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic, OBP (Ocean-bound Plastic), and recyclable packaging. These devices possibly could have a longer lifespan due to their ease of disassembling to simplify the process of repair and upgrade.
Aspire Vero AV14-51
The new Vero AV14-51 sports a 14-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display, the complete ecological benefits of its predecessor but it’s fueled now by a modern 12th Gen Intel Evo Core processor partnered with an Intel Iris Xe graphics. The New Aspire Vero also features up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, storage of up to 1tB M.2 PCIe SSD and a fingerprint reader for added security. It also has Wi-Fi 6E and an ample port selection, with Thunderbolt 4/USB Type-C, and two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, which you can charge your smartphone even when the laptop is turned off. This version of Vero gives us Cobblestone Grey and Mariana Blue option of colors.
Aspire Vero AV15-52
The big sibling of this list is the Vero AV15-52 which features a 15-inch FHD (1920×1080) display, and like its small sibling, it also has all the ecological benefits and is powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Evo Core processors which can handle entertainment-related and other productivity tools. It also sports up to 24GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB for storage, and Wi-Fi 6E. This Aspire Vero offers Cobblestone Grey and Starry Black color option.
Both new Acer Aspire Vero laptops are priced starting at USD 749.99 in the US this September 2022, EUR 899 (AV14-51) and EUR 999 (AV15-52) in EMEA this August 2022, and RMB 4,999 in China also in August 2022. No news yet on its local price so stay tuned.
