ASUS has unveiled its latest laptop, the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED, that sports a 16-inch 4K OLED screen, up to Core i9-12900H processor, RTX 3060 GPU, lifting keyboard, and ASUS Dial rotary controller.
The new Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is what ASUS claims is the world’s first 16-inch OLED laptop with an AAS Ultra design. It is a mechanism that raises the rear of the keyboard by up to 14.5mm, tilting by 7-degrees when the laptop is opened. This enhances cooling by allowing 30% more airflow and reduces the laptop’s surface temperature by up to 7-C. If you’ve seen how the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo’s secondary screen works, the concept is the same.
The ASUS Dial, on the other hand, is a physical rotary controller that gives customizable control for creative apps and adjusts settings with precision, such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Photoshop Lightroom Classic, After Effects, and Illustrator.
