Logitech G and Tencent will be partnering to bring a cloud gaming handheld into the market by the end of 2022.
They say that the new device will support multiple cloud gaming services with both companies working with the teams of Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce NOW to support both services on their handheld console.
Logitech G is Logitech’s division dedicated to hardware and console gaming gear. Couple their expertise in that field with Tencent’s expertise in software, then it may just be a match made in heaven.
No specifics have been given yet but according to Logitech’s website, it is currently called the Logitech G Gaming Handheld for now.

Cloud gaming utilizes data center serves to stream video games, think of it like Netflix but for games. This eliminates the need to download or install these games and have a beefy graphics card to run games. As all you will need for cloud gaming is a strong and stable internet connection.
Handheld gaming consoles and controllers have been catching steam lately ever since the Nintendo Switch. With a lot of other offerings made for cloud gaming such as the Steam Deck and as well the new Playstation Backbone One being a way to play your favorite Playstation games on the go. It will be interesting to see what Logitech and Tencent come up with.
