Netflix is rolling out support for Apple’s spatial audio on both the iPhone and iPad.
First reported on 9to5Mac, a Netflix spokesperson has since confirmed the rollout to The Verge, saying it began on Wednesday and users worldwide can expect to see it over the next few days. In addition, various Reddit users have already confirmed that the feature has already been made available for them.
Designed for a more immersive surround-sound experience, Apple’s spatial audio is only accessible through compatible speakers or headphones such as the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.
