According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the higher-end main processor is said to be similar to the M1 chip Apple introduced for its Macs. Kuo described the headset as an independent device that does not require an iPhone or Mac, and will feature two 4K OLED microdisplays and dual-processor units from Sony.

The higher-end chip will have an M1-level performance while the low-end chip will handle sensor-related computing. Reports also state that it will offer six to eight optical modules which provides continuous video see-through AR services. The Apple VR price is rumored to fall between USD 1,000 to USD 3,000 so stick around for more updates on this.
