ASUS ROG Phone 5s series coming to the Philippines

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially announced to launch the latest ROG Phone 5s series – the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro in the Philippines on December 8.

Globally launched in August, the ROG Phone 5s series sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 888+ 5G SoC, triple rear cameras, and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Check out their full specs below.

In addition, ROG also announced a collaboration between the ROG Phone 5s series and PUBG: NEW STATE, a next-generation battle royal mobile title from global gaming publisher KRAFTON.

Starting in November, the new collaboration will present a global series of elite showmatches, ROG Phone 5s x PUBG: NEW STATE Elite Showmatch, with a combined prize pot of gaming gear worth over USD 50,000.

The campaign will feature a series of 100-player online tournaments across the EMEA and APAC regions. With the participation of a combined total of over 20 top influencers from around the globe, players can join the survival matches to pit their skills against their local influencers. These influencers will not only join the battle but will also live-stream the matches on their social media accounts, allowing the entire world to watch the combat.

Prizes will consist of gaming gear to a combined total prize value of over USD 50,000. The overall winner will receive a full gaming hardware upgrade, plus a ROG Phone 5s gaming phone. Prizes consist of the following: ROG Strix SCAR 17 + ROG Phone 5s Pro with AeroCooler (1st place), ROG Phone 5s with AeroCooler + ROG Delta Headset (2nd place), and ROG Phone 5s with AeroCooler (3rd place).
