A new feature in Spotify called Discover has been revealed and displays a feed of vertical videos.
The feature was first spotted by @chrismessina who found it in a Spotify TestFlight build in iOS. According to reports, this is related to Canvas which is a feature that allows musicians and bands to replace static album art with dynamic videos.
Not only that, @Spotify Discover is basically a pared down version of a TikTok-style feed of vertical music videos (likely using their canvas format) that you can like or skip.#NewSpotify pic.twitter.com/hpOEZ8v9bl

Users can swipe to navigate between clips and can hit the heart button like a clip, which is a familiar format to that of TikTok. TechCrunch asked Spotify about this new feature however they didn’t seem keen on answering. It is possible that the feature may never see live servers but we just have to wait and see. Stick around for more updates on this.
