Display

Both smartphones have their advantages in terms of display. Both smartphones come with an FHD+ display with 2400 x 1080 resolution. In addition, both can also deliver rich colors and deep blacks, thanks to the Super AMOLED Plus screen on the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G and AMOLED on the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. In addition, it is also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection against damage from drops. According to Corning, the Gorilla Glass 5 survives up to 1.2-meter waist-high drops onto hard, rough surfaces.

CPU and GPU

Powering both smartphones is the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset paired with Adreno 642L GPU, so we can expect the same level of performance on both. However, do note that we can only determine the extent of their performance and thermals once we have both units for a review.

RAM and Storage

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE comes in 6GB or 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage. Both smartphones benefit from expandable storage up to 1TB via microSD.
