Globe has announced that it ties up with SoundCloud, a music entertainment company, as its first exclusive telco partner in the Philippines.
With the large catalog of over 300 million tracks from emerging creators to global superstars, Globe customers have plenty of choices to stream music content and directly connect and engage with SoundCloud’s community through Globe’s prepaid promo Go+99 with GoLISTEN.
For PHP 99, prepaid subscribers can enjoy 8GB of data on SoundCloud and 8GB more on all other music streaming services. In addition, creators can instantly upload and share their audio on the platform anytime for the opportunity to be heard and get discovered. Registered creators without a paid subscription can upload up to 180 minutes (3 hours) of audio to their profile at no cost while paying subscribers can enjoy 360 minutes (6 hours) of unlimited upload time.
Moreover, postpaid subscribers and prepaid WiFi customers can have seamless and uninterrupted music sessions on SoundCloud, see what’s next in music and discover new genres and artists through GPlan and HomeSURF, which have bigger data allocations for the app, according to Globe.
“SoundCloud is the premier platform for music discovery. Its role in connecting Filipino music lovers and an influential community of creators echoes Globe’s commitment to bring the best of music and audio content from big and emerging artists around the world to its loyal subscribers,” said Rina Siongco, Globe Head of Get Entertained Tribe.
“We are excited to partner with Globe to bring Filipinos easier access to enjoy SoundCloud’s full catalog anywhere, anytime, while empowering the local creator community to build and grow their careers on the platform,” said Tine Nitsch, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, SoundCloud.
