Telegram has recently announced its new features for the latest update, bringing easy-to-make video stickers, better reactions with compact animations and extra emoji, a button to review unseen reactions, improved navigation between chats, and more.
Telegram is adding support for stickers converted from regular videos so that anyone can easily create detailed animated stickers using any video editing program.
Moreover, reactions now have more compact animations. To send a larger effect, press and hold on to a reaction in the menu. Like interactive emoji, reactions are now synchronized, so your recipients will see the animations in real-time.
Additionally, this new update also adds five new reactions: . These reactions can also be sent as interactive emojis. Users may send a single emoji to any private chat, then tap on the animated emoji to release a synchronized fullscreen effect.
Telegram users can now press and hold the back button to view all their recent chats. They can then use it as a shortcut to switch between chats. Opening chats from forwarded messages, links, usernames, profiles, etc. adds the chat to the list.
Meanwhile, according to Telegram, their developers spent two weeks in January focusing completely on fixing known issues in Telegram apps. They improved call quality, added support for translation to Instant View pages (and bios on iOS), added the option to send silent messages from the sharing menu – and other improvements. On iOS, you’ll also notice new animations when tapping icons in the tab bar.
