Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin will return to the lineup Monday when the team hosts the Anaheim Ducks, coach Derek Lalonde told reporters.
Larkin was knocked unconscious in a game against the Ottawa Senators on Dec. 9 after he was punched by Mathieu Joseph and cross-checked by Parker Kelly.
The Red Wings captain lay motionless on the ice for a few moments after the incident. Thankfully, he was able to get back on his feet and left the ice with assistance.
Larkin, who missed the team’s previous four games, has 11 goals and 14 assists in 25 games this season.
