GCash offers insurance starting PHP 39/mo

GCash, Globe’s fintech arm, has launched a new insurance program users can start with just PHP 39 a month.

Offered to fully verified GCash users within the age of 18-65, the insurance program allows users to save on healthcare-related bills without the hassle of filling out the paperwork.

To get insured, text the SMS code t o2158-9628 (for Globe users) or 22565-9628 (for non-Globe users). You may check out the SMS codes, plans, and coverage details below:

Your applications will be processed within the next 1 to 2 business days. Approved users will be sent a confirmation text. Once approved, the insurance fee will be automatically deducted from your GCash balance.

GCash Insurance covers personal accidents, term life, and daily hospital incomes. Claiming the insurance is done through email. Request your insurance benefit by emailing gcashinsure-support@microensure.com. To ease the process, you may also send any supporting documents. GCash should reply to your email claims within the next few days.

GCash has noted that the hospitalization cash benefit covers PHP 250 per day of confinement. To claim this, the user must have spent a minimum of 3 days in the hospital as an inpatient.
