XPG announces first gaming laptop, the Xenia

XPG, the gaming sub-brand of ADATA, has announced its first gaming laptop, the XPG Xenia.

The XPG Xenia is equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS panel running at 144Hz. There are two configurations, both use an Intel Core i7-9750H, but come with either an NVIDIA RTX 2070 Max-Q or GTX 1660Ti. For memory, both configs come with 32GB of 2,666MHz RAM and a 1TB XPG SX8200 Pro M.2 SSD.

The Xenia still sports last generation’s processor and an NVIDIA RTX non-Super GPU. However, it does come with a mechanical keyboard with two switch types available (tactile and silent) and per-key RGB. What’s impressive is XPG has kept the chassis thin and lightweight 20.5mm and 1.85kg, despite the added hardware.

Connectivity-wise, the XPG Xenia comes with an Intel AX200 WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

For IO, there are two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a Thunderbolt 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. It’s powered by a 6-cell 96Whr battery, which XPG claims can last up to 10 hours.

While there are no MSRPs provided for the two variants, the retail listing shows that the cheaper GTX 1660 Ti model is sold for USD 1,699, while the RX 2070 model is sold for USD 2,199.
