The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will be extending the voter registration period and will resume operations starting October 11.
COMELEC spokesperson James Jimenez shared that COMELEC en banc has unanimously approved the voter registration extension, and will resume on October 11 in order to focus on the Certificates of Candidacy (COC) for 2022. Additionally, he shares that they will be operational during the weekdays only, except on the last day, which is on October 30. On the other hand, registration of overseas voters can immediately continue and will be extended from October 1 to 14.
Extension is from Oct 11 to 30; Mon-Friday, no Saturdays, except for the last day (Oct.30), 8AM-5PM. All registration services offered. #magparehistroka
