Huawei nova 9, 9 Pro specs, now official

Huawei has officially launched the latest smartphones under the nova series in China— the Huawei nova 9 and nova 9 Pro.

The Huawei nova 9 sports a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,300 mAh battery with 66W fast charging. For camera configuration, it features quad rear cameras consisting of 50MP (main), 8MP (ultra-wide), 2MP (macro), and 2MP (depth) sensors. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Huawei nova 9 Pro features a 6.72-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. For camera configuration, it features quad rear cameras consisting of 50MP (main), 8MP (ultra-wide), 2MP (macro), and 2MP (depth) sensors. Upfront is a dual-selfie camera with 32MP (main) and 32MP (ultra-wide) sensors.

Both the Huawei nova 9 and nova 9 Pro come in two variants (8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB). The nova 9 is priced at CNY 2,699 for the 8+128GB version and CNY 2,999 for the 8+256GB version. On the other hand, the nova 9 Pro starts at CNY 3,499 for the 8+128GB version while the 8+256GB version is priced at CNY 3,899. Both are available for purchase in China via Huawei’s official website.
