Globe launches Shop & Pay digital kiosks

Globe has launched its newest store concept that combines traditional Globe Stores with a digital retail format called Shop & Pay.

The hybrid offering is a one-stop shop for all Globe’s essential products and services. Shop & Pay was introduced as part of Globe’s annual 917 Day celebration, which was inspired by its prefix: 0917. According to Globe, they will be showing their appreciation to its loyal customers through more innovations this month.

The Globe Shop & Pay digital kiosks will help address customer hesitancy to visit and transact in physical stores. Instead, customers can use a digital touchscreen display in purchasing products and availing services. In addition, QR codes can be scanned, leading to an online shop for payment and delivery requests.

To learn more about the different products, customers can use the “lift and learn” option. Once a demo unit is lifted, the video displayed will show the features of the phone and the corresponding offer bundled with it. In addition, a comparative table will present the phone’s features, and available plan offers if two demo units are lifted.

The digital displays can also educate customers of available digital channels, highlighting mobile applications such as GlobeOne, GCash, and Globe At Home apps to help customers transition towards digital transformation. Furthermore, there are available vending machines in Globe Shop & Pay kiosks for bills payment, GCash cash-in, load top-up, or buying prepaid call cards and SIM cards.
