RedFOX Labs intros NFTs to Filipinos via Miss Universe Philippines Collection

RedFOX Labs and Miss Universe Philippines collaborated to launch the very first Miss Universe Philippines NFT Collection.

Leveraging Miss Universe Philippines 1M social media following and 400,000 viewers, RedFOX aims to extend the reach of NFT and blockchain and advance the pageant’s cause to a wider Filipino audience. They will release a total of 9,900 limited-edition NFTs, consisting of 6,000 Common, 2,700 Uncommon, 900 Rare, and 300 Mythic NFTs.

Each NFT will be sold individually, randomly generated at the point of sale, and will cost USD 50 worth of RFOX tokens on the day of sale. Wallets holding a Mythic NFT of the winning contestant on the final judging night will be airdropped 1 ETH. A total of 10 ETH will be distributed across 10 winners.

RFOX, which is tradeable on both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain blockchains, is available on exchanges such as Kucoin, Bittrex, Liquid, Gate.io, Uniswap, CoinSpot, and Loopring.

How to Buy RFOX on MetaMask:

1. Sign up for a crypto wallet that supports accessible cash-in channels in the Philippines, like PDAX, Coins.PH, or Binance.
2. Add funds to your crypto wallet and buy ETH.
3. Send the ETH you bought to your MetaMask wallet.
4. Once on MetaMask, add RFOX to your list of tokens (Add Tokens > Custom Tokens > Token Address + Token Symbol + Token of Precision)
   Swap your ETH for RFOX.

How to Buy RFOX on Uniswap

1. Launch the Uniswap app and connect your Metamask wallet.
2. Under the Swap function, add RFOX as the token you’d like to get.
3. Enter the amount of ETH you will spend or the amount of RFOX tokens you need to buy Make sure that you have sufficient ETH balance to complete the deal.
4. Click Swap. A preview of the transaction will appear in a pop-up window from your MetaMask wallet.
5. Confirm the transaction in the MetaMask wallet. You will receive your RFOX tokens

With the launch of the Miss Universe Philippines NFT Collection, RedFOX Labs is expanding the pageant’s reach to new frontiers in the digital world, particularly via the use of NFTs. Global NFT sales grew from USD 94.86 million in 2020 to USD 2.47 billion in just the first half of 2021, according to Reuters, representing growth of more than 2600% with significantly more sales to come.
