The WWDC22 just announced the new M2 chip and new iterations of MacBook Air and Pro with an M2 Chip. Now, Apple is already in the works for a possible larger MacBooks and M3 processors.
Apple is supposedly releasing a 15-inch MacBook Air this year, but they opt to iterate their current models, but based on the report of Bloomberg, they could possibly introduce a 15-inch and 12-inch Macbook next year, 2023. As of now, Apple is yet to release an updated version of MacBook Pro 14 and 16 which is reportedly to house the incoming M2 Pro and M2 Max processors which are codenamed as J414 and J416.
Aside from this, Apple started their work with 3-Nanometer Technology which is said to bring improved power and efficiency based on macrumors. It is said that Apple is working on some M3 chips, codenamed Ibiza, Lobos, and Palma. Its reported target date of commercial production is around the fourth (4th) quarter of 2022 based on DigiTimes. The possible M3 chips which will be possibly released this 2023, is reportedly to feature up to 40 compute cores. Aside from this is the possible iPhone 15 modules with A17 chips based on macrumors.
